The June Hosta Plant is a part shade loving plant that thrives in less than 4 hours a day of sunlight. Emerging in spring with chartreuse (the color half way between green and yellow as shown above in the image) leaves that graduate to gold in summer, the June Hosta is the perfect garden plant to brighten up partly shaded areas. This slug resistant hosta is a good choice for woodland garden settings, around the patio or in containers.
Awarding winning June Hosta was awarded the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit as well as named Hosta of the Year 2001. With credits like this, you won't go wrong adding the June Hosta to your garden or landscape.

Please Note: Beginning in September, many plants begin to go dormant.
Some plants may have already dropped their leaves, died back to the ground or are beginning to turn yellow when they arrive to you. Deciduous trees, shrubs, perennials and groundcovers do go dormant.
This is a normal stage for plants at this time of the year. Plant upon arrival as roots continue to grow while the ground is warm. Some plants require seasonal maintenance and may have been pruned.
