Scentara Pura® Syringa | Flowering Lilac Shrub

Lilac Shrubs are typically cold climate plants. Growing and flowering in climates warmer than zone 6 has been a challenge. The Scentara Pura® Lilac Shrub is shown to tolerate the heat and humidity often found in zones 7 and 8 in the South Eastern US. Scentara Pura® is a hyacinthiflora lilac which is the most fragrant lilac flowering shrub available.

As with other lilac flowering shrubs, this variety grows best in well drained soil with full sun. Damp soil leads to rot root and dies.

Growing in the 4 to 6 foot height rangea, this lilac is perfect for hedging outdoor living areas to enjoy the amazingly fragrant spring flowers.

Great for cut flowers.

Excellent shrub for screening low unsightly areas such as heat and air units.

Use as a foundation shrub planting.
