Spirea Double Play Doozie® Red Continuous Blooming Spiraea

Introducing the first sterile, continuous blooming spirea. Spring is just the beginning of this and other Double Play® Spireas. As spring opens, the Double Play Doozie® begins with rich red flowers set against lime green foliage. As the initial flowers age over spring, the leaves darken. At this time, the plant can be pruned for a second flush of red flowers. Otherwise, the plant moves onto early summer when the flowers emerge as hot pink to red and continue until frost. This is a game changer for spiraeas.
