Blackeyed Susan - Rudbeckia 'Goldstrum' -
Commonly known as Black-eyed Susan, are yellow flowering perennials that are true perennials, returning larger each year. This colorful perennial plant is great for mass plantings and provide wonderful contrasting colors when paired with ornamental grasses, Shasta Daisies, Russian Sage and Dianthus. Deadhead regularly for continued blooms.
Blackeyed Susan plants are a North American native wildflower plant as well as being deer resistant and rabbit resistant yet attracts butterflies.
Space Blackeyed Susan's approximately 18 inches apart in full sun to partially shaded areas. Their gold to orange petal colors provide striking color in gardens from mid summer to mid fall. Divide these plants in spring for replanting.
