Description
Sweetie Pie Blackberry Plants
Perfect for the home orchard, the Sweetie Pie Blackberry was bred by the USDA in Poplarville, MS so it tolerates the southern heat beautifullly.
A thornless blackberry, the Sweetie Pie is excellent for home gardens and pick-your-own (U-pick) operations.
As with most blackberry plants, this one blooms and fruits on second year canes. Is resistant to double blossom or rosette caused by a fungus.
Sweeter than most other thornless varieties of blackberry bushes.
Self-fertile.
Good choice for raised beds and container growing.
Fruit ripens mid-June to late July.
A trailing blackberry (not upright).
