Homestead Purple Verbena is a trailing variety that will be covered in deep purple flower clusters from late spring to early summer on to early to mid fall.
This long flowering perennial plant is attractive when planted in masses and makes a colorful lawn substitute. The Homestead Purple Verbena lends itself to window boxes, containers, and edgings. Plant near patios and decks for color and fragrance that will lure butterflies and hummingbirds to the rich clustered flowers.

Please Note: Beginning in September, many plants begin to go dormant.
Some plants may have already dropped their leaves, died back to the ground or are beginning to turn yellow when they arrive to you. Deciduous trees, shrubs, perennials and groundcovers do go dormant.
This is a normal stage for plants at this time of the year. Plant upon arrival as roots continue to grow while the ground is warm. Some plants require seasonal maintenance and may have been pruned.
