The taller growing Agastache Red Fortune makes a colorful backdrop for smaller perennials in the garden. With it topping out around 3 feet tall, this giant hyssop bursts with reddish pink tublar flowers forming long spikes during mid summer to fall. Forming a shrub type plant, the Red Fortune Agastache has gray green leaves with serrated edges.
Plant the Agastache Red Fortune in well drained soil in sunny areas. It is tough and can tolerate poor acidic soil, too.
