Muscadine Tara is a bronze self-fertile muscadine grape with a high sugar content (17%). A good size, the Tara Muscadine, Vitis rotundifolia, is a vigorous grower with high yields, dry scar and cold hardy. Ripens early-mid season.
Tara Muscadine Plant produces round 1-inch grape fruits, ripening uniformly early to mid season, have thick skins and a very full-bodied, musky taste that has been appreciated in homemade wine for generations. It is disease resistant, and self-fertile muscadine grape vine (no cross pollination required).
