Dwarf Pampas Grass | Cortaderia selloana Pumila
This Dwarf Pampas Grass is an easy-to-grow ornamental grass that produces amazing showy flowers in late summer throughout fall. This Dwarf Pampas Grass matures at 5 to 6 feet tall with a spread of 3 to 4 feet wide, making it an excellent choice plant for small gardens. The long stalks of the beautiful white plumes rise another 2 feet above the foliage of the Cortaderia selloana Pumila.
Water the Dwarf Pampas Grass regularly the first year to establish a deep root system. Cut back in late winter to early spring to about 8 inches above the ground. Divide plants every 3 to 5 years in spring to keep them looking their best. Use general purpose fertilize in spring.
