Dark Red Crape Myrtle For Sale
Dark Red Crape Myrtle will heat up your gardens and landscape settings. Growing in the 20 to 25 foot height range, our Dark Red Crape Myrtle is a show plant with hot red flowers that begin in early to mid summer and continue on until frost. At which time, the foliage begins to fade from dark green to orange-red shades. The image on this page was taken in the field in mid September.
The Dark Red is a strong flowering crape myrtle that earns its keep in any yard. Cold hardy into zone 6, but not recommended for areas any colder. This crepe myrtle tree has smooth to peeling bark that provides lots of winter interest.
Dark Red Crape Myrtle plants are container grown in one gallon trade containers.
