Quick Reference Guide: Vitis rotundifolia 'Delicious' Muscadine Grape Vine Care

  • Planting Zones: USDA Hardiness Zones 7-9.
  • Light Requirements: Requires full sun (at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight per day) for optimal fruit production.
  • Soil Conditions: Thrives in well-draining, slightly acidic soil (pH 5.5-6.5). Avoid heavy, waterlogged clay soils. A yearly application of compost will improve soil health.
  • Watering Needs: Water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish the root system. Once established, it is drought-tolerant but will benefit from watering during dry periods, especially while fruit is developing.
  • Pollination: The 'Delicious' is a self-fertile variety, meaning it will produce fruit without a separate male pollinator.

Shipping: One Pint size

  • Shipping Restrictions:Β Cannot ship to ID, NY, OR, CA, or WA.
