View compareBuy Now: Jane Magnolia Shrubs (Magnolia × 'Jane')
Product Overview:
Part of the Little Girl Magnolia Series of compact, cold-hardy magnolias, the Jane Magnolia is a stunning spring bloomer that flowers several weeks later than stellata varieties—reducing the risk of frost damage. This hybrid magnolia produces cup-shaped blooms with purple-red outer petals and white interiors, creating a dramatic two-tone effect that stands out in any landscape.
Jane Magnolia matures to 10–15 feet tall with a spread of up to 12 feet, making it ideal for use as a specimen shrub, flowering hedge, or small ornamental tree. It’s a beautiful choice for home landscapes, woodland garden edges, or pairing with other spring bloomers like the Ann Magnolia.
While peak bloom occurs in April and May, Jane has been known to rebloom sporadically into July, adding surprise color to summer gardens.
