Miss Kim Korean Lilac -
This wonderfully fragrant flowering shrub is one of the few southern lilacs growing into zone 8. Shows excellent resistance against powdery mildew. The compact shape of the Miss Kim Lilac makes it perfect for a shrub border or foundation planting. Fall brings burgundy tinted foliage. Dark purple buds open to lavender blue flowers in May. Grows in the 5 to 8 foot height range and can spread as wide.
Miss Kim Lilac Care: Water deeply during the first growing season planted. Fertilize with a slow release fertilize blend in spring after plant leafs out. Prune after flowering for shape. Plant in an area with good air circulation.
