What Plants Are Shipping Now!

While winter may be arriving in areas of mid west and northeast, we are still shipping into zones 6, 7, 8 and 9 which are still plantable. Many of our container grown and bare root trees and shrubs are available as well as some of our perennials such as ornamental grasses, ferns, hellebores, heucheras, and groundcovers

This is a good time for homeowners in these warmer climates to add plants into their landscape. We have evergreen trees such as the Green Giants, Cryptomeria Radicans, Nellie Stevens Holly and the Sky Rocket Junipers ready for shipping. Plant shade trees like our Oak trees, Chestnut Trees and GSP Black Walnuts

For shrub hedge ideas, look to our Rose of Sharon, Rosa Rugosa, Nishiki Willow, Yellow Twig Dogwood, and the Alleghany Viburnum

Be sure to mulch around your newly planted plants leaving a welled, doughnut like opening so the mulch doesn't touch the trunk of the trees or shrubs. This provides a dish-like space for watering your plants allowing the water to be fully directed to the root system.

If you have any questions about whether or not you can safely plant, give us a call or email us at [email protected] and we're happy to be of assistance.
