Ajuga Burgundy Glow
Ajuga Burgundy Glow or Ajuga Reptans is a perennial ground cover that does well in shade gardens.
Burgundy Glow spreads rapidly by stolons, gets only 6 inches tall and spreads to a width of 24 to 36 inches. In late spring to early summer, it will produce dark blue perennials flowers on spikes that reach about 6 inches tall. This ajuga variety has cream and maroon variegated leaves. Variegated ajuga that makes an extremely interesting contrast in any garden.
If you prefer a darker color leaf, then you'll adore the Mahogany Ajuga. Or, for lots of growing season blooms, plus the foliage is evergreen the Blueberry Muffin Ajuga is perfect.
Ajuga Burgundy Glow will do best in shaded gardens but will adapt to morning sun. The foliage colors will be more vivid with morning sun. It prefers moist soil with a good drainage but will tolerate moderately dry areas. Avoid soggy soil conditions.
