Hibiscus Lady Stanley Tree Form, Rose of Sharon (Hardy Hibiscus), is one of the most beautiful and striking plants that has been introduced over the last several years in the nursery industry to the landscape gardener and homeowner. The Hibiscus Lady Stanley Tree Form pictured in the landscape setting is a single white 'Diana' to show the shape of the tree form tree you will be receiving. The inset picture is the bloom of the Lady Stanley with double, pink flowers. The trees are shipped bare root in a dormant state as a full 2 to 3 ft specimen, easy to transplant, and ready to grow next spring.
Your Lady Stanley trees will produce masses of 3 to 5 inch double, pink flower blooms all summer long. Peak bloom takes place in August.
Use as an entrance to a garden or along walkways or drives. Or place in a large container as a patio potted plant.
Care:
Rose of Sharon Hibiscus is valued for large flowers produced in mid-to late summer when few other shrubs bloom. The plant grows in sun or partial shade and in any soil. The growth rate ranges from slow to moderate, and transplanting is easy. The single or double flowers are in shades of red, pink, white and purple, depending on the cultivar. Peak bloom takes place in August. Prune in late winter or early spring. Frequent severe pruning gives fewer but larger flowers; no or little pruning gives many small flowers.
Hibiscus Blue Satin®, a new Proven Winner, is absolutely the best Blue Hibiscus we've seen! Hibiscus Blue Satin®'s large, single, rich blue flowers will be a delight in your garden. Hibiscus syriacus. One of the few blue blooming flowering shrubs.
