Mahogany Ajuga reptans is as versatile as it is colorful with its deep mahogany leaves that are almost black. Semi- evergreen to evergreen, the Mahogany Ajuga will tolerate deep shade and poor soil. Producing lovely blue flowers during from late spring through early summer, the Mahogany Bugleweed Ajuga reptans is a pet friendly ground cover. Provides a beautiful contrast to most shrubs and perennials.
Supplemental water is required during its first year. Once established, the Mahogany Bugleweed Ajuga reptans is drought tolerant. Beautiful in containers which will need supplemental watering.
