Maple Japanese Butterfly Tree, Acer palmatum Butterfly, is a small growing tree with beautiful leaves that are blue-green with creamy white margins tinged with pink. The white portions on the leaves of the 'Butterfly' Japanese Maple change with the seasons and are rosy pink in the spring and magenta in the fall.
This dwarf Japanese Butterfly Maple tree grows to a height of 8 to 9 feet with a 5 to 6 foot spread making its growth very symmetrical. This tree can be used as a specimen, accent or in groups of 3 or more. It may be grown in planters or in other containers for patios and decks. This Japanese Maple tree is also a good selection for Bonsai.
