They display white flowers on 16 inch spikes and the leaves have turned to an almost burgundy shade by fall.
The Heuchera Peach Flambe is truly a must have for your garden. Easy to plant, easy to grow and great for low-maintenance landscape, borders, or patio additions. Heuchera Peach Flambe works perfectly with other plants in large patio containers.
With all of the new heucheras being developed we seem to be putting clusters of the new introductions in 3's all around the garden. If you are looking for an easy no fuss plant to grow, this is it. Whether you're a novice or a seasoned gardener once you get hooked on heucheras, you will love having these perennial plants in your landscape or garden for years to come.
Heucheras are easy perennials to grow and fit nicely in the front of any border, rock garden, or container. They grow most vigorously and have the strongest colors when grown in partial shade (preferably afternoon shade). They can also be grown in full shade but their growth rate will be very slow. Some varieties can withstand full sun in northern climates if they have consistent moisture, but their colors tend to fade with the intensity of the sun. The soil should be amended with organic matter prior to planting. It should also have good drainage. Heucheras are also salt tolerant. They are useful in the north along pathways which are salted in winter or for people gardening in coastal regions.
NOTE: Heucheras can be grown under Black Walnut trees because they are resistant to the toxin Juglone which the trees emit from their roots.
Tips on Growing Heucheras:
1. Well-drained, NEUTRAL soil (most folks have no idea that Heucheras prefer neutral soil) and it must be well-drained They don't do well with very acid soil.
2. Divide them every couple of years and 'bring them back to earth'. Eventually they tend to have stems that are too long. If that happens, just break them apart and plant them farther down in the soil.
3. Most will take full sun in cooler, northern zones with adequate moisture.

our NEW STEP-UPS ™ Perennial Plant collection.
What are Step-Ups ™? - Our perennials are cultivated and grown with an accelerated system. They are started in small containers, transplanted to quart containers, and then transplanted again to one gallon trade size container. This expands the root system, making our plants perform like a two year perennial the very first year. Step-ups ™ perform the first year you plant them.
