The Cardinal Strawberry Plant produces a firm, glossy red berry fruit. You will find that the Cardinal Strawberry is, also, a very large sweet tasting, mid-season strawberry variety. Strawberry Cardinal is a good berry for eating fresh or freezing. Because of its high yielding and shipping qualities, Cardinal Strawberries are excellent strawberries planting for pick-your-own operations. This strawberry plant displays heavy disease resistance.

Cardinal Strawberry plants produce a single crop each year, mid-season during a 2 - 3 week period.

Tip: If you get blooms the first year while the plant is getting established, pinch the blooms off to ensure a large fruit crop the next year.
