Ouachita Blackberry Plants are shipped as 2 yr #1 plants bare root

Weather permitting; Blackberries will be available for fall shipping beginning mid November.  Spring shipping generally begins early March.

We will not ship this plant variety into California due to California Department of Agriculture restrictions.

Orders shipping to the following states: AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NV, OR, UT, WA, and WY are subject to a 20% handling charge due to additional plant preparation and shipping surcharges.


The Ouachita Thornless Blackberry is our newest large, sweet thornless blackberry bred by the University of Arkansas. The Thornless Ouachita Blackberry has very upright and erect canes It has excellent flavor and is very prolific.  
 
The fruit storage and handling potential of the
Ouachita (Pronounced wash-uh-taw) Blackberry is very good, near that of Navaho; hardiness similar to other Arkansas thornless berries.

 
Ripening begins approximately June 12 (based on the Clarksville, Arkansas area) and their fruiting extends for about five weeks. Ripening season is between that of Arapaho and Navaho blackberries.
 
Excellent Quality - High Yielding.

Fruit Yield: 2 to 4 quarts per vine.
