Magnolia 'Butterflies', matures as an upright pyramidal specimen tree. The Magnolia 'Butterflies' produces beautiful yellow star shaped flowers (3 to 4 inches) during early to mid spring. The bright yellow blooms on this magnolia give the appearance of yellow butterflies welcoming spring. Sweetly scented, plant the Magnolia 'Butterflies' near a window or patio for a wonderful spring fragrance.

This magnolia is tolerant of salt-water areas. The foliage turns dark green by summer.

Prune the Magnolia 'Butterflies' in late winter to keep shape.
