Grace Smoketree, Cotinus coggygria x obovatus 'Grace' is one of the more striking smaller growing trees available. Of the Smoketree varieties on the market, the Grace Smoketree pops out red spring foliage darkening to a more burgundy shade over the growing season. As fall arrives, the leaves of the Grace Smoketree fade into breath taking shades of orange, gold, green, purple, and red. During mid summer, Grace Smoketree entertains with a wonderful show of fluffy purple pink smoky plumes. Plant the Grace Smoketree in well drained soil in full sun. It shows beautifully as a specimen tree or in beds and borders. The Grace Smoketree offers wonderful color in spring, summer and fall making it one of our suggested investment plants. Greenwood offers the Grace Smoketree as a heavily rooted plant grown in gallon containers (trade gallon). They are the perfect addition for both new and established gardens. Because they offer long-term impact for the landscape, they qualify as one of our choices as an investment landscape plant.
