Aster English Country is counted among the great garden plants, because many of them hold off blooming until late summer and fall when most garden plants are spent. Aster English Country grows and flowers best in full sun and evenly moist soil; Asters do not like drought. This beautiful Aster performs fabulous for us each year regardless of environmental conditions. It's the belle of the garden and no one can resist its beauty. Asters make an excellent container plant or in front of the garden feature and look great with ornamental grasses. Aster English Country is attractive to bees, butterflies and birds and looks beautiful all season long. They bloom with an almost iridescent blue from late summer to fall. Recommended spacing is 18 to 20 inches apart.

What are Step-Ups ™? - Our perennials are cultivated and grown with an accelerated system. They are started in small containers, transplanted to quart containers, and then transplanted again to one gallon trade size containers. This expands the root system, making our plants perform like a two year perennial the very first year. Step-ups ™ perform the first year you plant them. You're a step ahead with Step Ups!
