Our side yard is constanley wet . There is water coming down from the hillside and we connot located the source. However, we need to know what to plant thee to absorb this water.

Hello Diana,
If your side yard is in a low area, it will catch all run off water from higher levels. Creating a bog garden is one way to work with the situation rather than trying to alter the area. Here is a link to an article on creating bog gardens and below my signature is a large listing of plants that will grow in consistently wet areas. The plants will not absorb the moisture, but will grow and thrive in these wet spots.
