Juniper Spartan, Juniperus chinensis Spartan, Here is a welcome alternative plant to the often photographed cypress of Italy. The fast growing Spartan Juniper is the source of the lovely spiraled topiary columns so popular in Mediterranean-inspired gardens. Juniper Spartan can be grown in high-quality heavy weight concrete or ceramic containers that are perfect for formal gardens.
The Spartan junipers handsome, rapidly growing specimen forms densely branched columnar form useful as screen or windbreak.
Care Instructions: Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Watering is reduced after establishment.

Ships: in one gallon trade size container. Purchase in multiples for best value. We will not ship this plant variety into California due to California Department of Agriculture restrictions.
We cannot ship any container plants with soil into CA,AZ,OR, and WA. For these states all plants will be taken out of containers, the soil shaken off of the roots, and then roots dipped in water retention gel, then wrapped with moist medium and packaged to insure fresh and live delivery. Sorry for any inconvenience.
