You will receive two husky peonies (our picks) out of the three most poplar peony varieties. Husky 2-3 eye plants, dug fresh and shipped right with your order.
You could get 2 of the same or 2 out of the three. The reason for the special price is we will not know which as that is how they will come from our grower. We do know that the three varieties are all fragrant and the names a descriptions of the three.
Sarah Bernhardt - A classic peony with shapely, deep rose pink petals edged with paler pink. The attractive 5"- to 7"-wide, fragrant double flowers bloom around Memorial Day and are highly sought after by florists as a cut flower. Plants are hardy in zones 3-8, mature to 34", and prefer full sun, rich soil, and open areas.
Karl Rosenfeldt - Sporting blooms up to 8” across! This peony is considered by peony collectors as one of the most prized of all peony varieties, notable both for its bloom size and the intensity of its color. The colors are deep crimson fully double blooms on 36” tall plants in May and June. Plant in full sun or partial shade.
Shirley Temple - This peony is a fully double, free-blooming variety. Flowers are 5-7" across. During late spring-early summer, they fill the garden with fragrance; long-lasting, ideal for cutting. They like rich soil, full sun and open areas.
