NEW! Heucherella Foamy Bells is a great new show stopper. It is a great plant for boarders, shaded beds or even containers on the patio or deck. Foamy Bells grows to a height of 12-24 inches. First years leaves remain the solid golden color with faint red vein markings. In its second year and for every year after the beautiful central red markings become a focal point and added show for this plant.

It cute little spikes of pink flowers on flowing stems beginning in spring and extending through the summer months. Easy to grow and adaptable to most any soil it is sure to delight absentee gardener for many years to come.

Plant foamy bells in average to rich, moist but well-drained soil in part sun. Most varieties need some shade from the hot afternoon sun, but none of them will do well in full shade. Don't allow them to dry out too much, so planting the crown just a little below the soil (the opposite of Heuchera which should be planted just above the soil) helps to protect them during heat, drought, and over the winter.

Foamy bells, like coral bells, are ideal for the eastern and western exposures of buildings and homes since they will receive a fair amount of sun but be shaded out for part of the day.

Introducing, exclusively for Greenwood Nursery Club members and customers,
our NEW STEP–UPS ™ Perennial Plant collection.

What are Step-Ups ™? – Our perennials are cultivated and grown with an accelerated system. They are started in small containers, transplanted to quart containers, and then transplanted again to ONE GALLON SIZE CONTAINERS. This expands the root system, making our plants perform like a two year perennial the very first year. Step-ups ™ perform the first year you plant them.
