Now enjoy Greenwood's Standard size Pear Trees. All three pears offered do better with 2 different varieties for cross-pollination.

Standard size trees 18-20 ft. at maturity. Plant 35 ft. apart.

Bartlett Pear - America's favorite pear variety is perfect for eating fresh or canning. The yellow-green skin, long neck and smooth shape make Bartlett an attractive pear. Flesh is juicy and sweet, smooth and creamy. Somewhat self-fruitful; for best production should pollinate with another pear variety. Ripens in Sept. but don't allow to fully ripen on the tree. Flavor improves in the refrigerator. Zones 5 to 8

NEW! You have heard the phrases; Sugar Bear, Sugar Babe, and Sugar Daddy. Now we have the Sugar Pear.

The Ayers Pear tree, although new to Greenwood this season is an old southern grown, European Pear, often refereed to as the Sugar Pear. It has so much natural sugar it just melts in your mouth. Cross pollination is needed for fruit set. Ripen in September. Zone 5 to 7

The Moonglow Pear Tree produces pear fruit that when ripe, develops a creamy, white glow on the skin of the pear. The pear of the Moonglow Pear Tree has a musky fragrance that heightens the senses and the very soft, juicy pulp has an excellent quality that is most appreciated when eaten fresh.

Soft and juicy but never mushy, this blight-resistant Bartlett-type pear is a perennial favorite. It’ll be yours too, because it bears fruit for years and years to come. Moonglow is a strong pollinator for other pear varieties. Cross pollination is needed for fruit set. Ready to harvest in mid-August in Zone 5.

It is easy to order. If you are ordering more then one plant per variety there is a price savings on that variety.
