For these states all plants will be taken out of containers, the soil shaken off of the roots, and then roots dipped in water retention gel, then wrapped with moist medium and packaged to insure fresh and live delivery. Gold Veil Tufted Hair Grass - Deschampsia cespitosa Goldschleier - A beautiful cool season grass with a semi-evergreen mound of medium green leaves. Gold veil grass displays tall, airy, bright yellow flowering spikes rising above the green leaves in late summer gradually fading to silver for winter. This grass Looks best on overcast days or at dusk when the grass will appear to be glowing. This grass' season of interest is June through October.
We suggest planting this grass in groupings, borders, and even for dried flower arrangements. The green foliage grows from 16 to 24” with the flower spikes reaching to 36 inches. This grass is best grown in a sunny or partly shaded location where the grass won’t dry out.
