White Pine, Pinus Strobus or Eastern White Pine is an excellent evergreen tree for specimens, naturalizing, windbreak or dense screen. White Pine Trees can be easily manageable height by pruning. The White Pine Tree is a fast growing evergreen tree and often reaches a height of 6 ft. in 3-5 years, starting out with our husky White Pine transplants.
The White Pine grows in full sun or partial shade, ordinary soil. White Pine grows in normal moisture conditions but can tolerate wet, swampy areas.
Transplant: A transplant is a seedling that has been lifted from one nursery bed and transplanted to another. The transplanted seedling is planted at wider spacing allowing more growing space. Compared to a seedling, a transplant has a more fibrous root system and larger stem diameter. The increased size of transplants gives them an advantage over seedlings, especially on marginal sites.
Our transplant sizes are hardier, huskier, and more all-around balanced plants. When planted in your landscape, the transplant has a greater chance of survival since it has already survived the shock of being transplanted once at the nursery.
Our Mycrotabs consist of a fertilize component of 10-8-8 NPK and Beneficial soil microbes. Mycrotabs give plants the ability to take up beneficial nutrients in the soil, use less water, along with better uptake of fertilize.
Our Plant Survival Package is the best way to make sure newly planted trees live and thrive. But our Plant Survival Pack does more than just increase survivability, it will protect against deer, rabbit and mechanical damage to plants.
