Bamboo Green View Sasa tsuboian is an evergreen groundcover bamboo but can grow to 6 feet in height. Bamboo Green View's large leaves hang vertically, giving a tropical appearance. Bamboo Green View is a forest grass from Japan that tolerates shade, and performs best in partial shade.
Try this as a new alternative to Pachysandra or English ivy. Spreading roots need containment. Height to 3 feet. Cut back in spring for best effect. Use as groundcover among woody plants. Bamboo Green View is cold hardy to 0 degrees F, so good for planting Zones 4 – 9. Try Bamboo, often thought to be an exotic, is now becoming part of the new generation landscapes.
