NEW! Salix pendulina ‘Elegantissima’ “Thurlow Weeping Willow” Weeping Willows tend to make you think about lazy summer days. As a young man I would try to finish my chores as quickly as possible so that I could steal off to the swimming hole with my friends. This crisp pool was in a spring fed stream and could make you forget about even the hottest August days. Surrounded by Weeping Willow we would all lay back under the trees after a quick dip and talk about the things boys do. The smallest of breezes would seem infinitely cooler under the hanging branches of those Willow. Seeing these trees today takes me back.

Elegantissima Weeping Willow is an ideal tree for planting in a large open space or close to water. The elegant hanging limbs and lush foliage will move serenely with even the slightest breeze. You will notice that under the shade of this tree that will grow to fifty feet the temperature is always a few degrees cooler. Grows well in full sun and a variety of soil conditions, but prefers to be close to a water source.

Ships Bare root, one to two feet, 1 year easy to grow.
Purchase in multiples of 5 or 10 trees per order.
