Shipping Details:

Ships: Full QUART containers, 3 to 5 eyes per plant.

We cannot ship any container plants with soil into CA,AZ,OR, and WA. For these states all plants will be taken out of containers, the soil shaken off of the roots, and then roots dipped in water retention gel, then wrapped with moist medium and packaged to insure fresh and live delivery. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Orders shipping to the following states: AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NV, OR, UT, WA, and WY are subject to a 20% handling charge due to additional plant preparation and shipping surcharges.

Hosta Gold Standard is named for its warm golden yellow leaf center trimmed by deep green on the edges. Hosta Gold Standard performs best in shade with little sun, and moderate to high watering. The funnel shaped lavender flower will appear throughout July and August. Hosta Gold Standard grows to a height of two feet and spreads to over three feet, and works well in Zones 4 - 9.

When grouping plant 3 feet apart to get the best coverage. Gold Standard is not only for the garden area though, serves equally well in a potted planting for a patio or terrace. This is one of the best and most popular of all the Hostas.
