NEW! Gold Standard, Hosta So named for its warm golden yellow leaf center trimmed by deep green on the edges. Performs best in shade with little sun, and moderate to high watering. The funnel shaped lavender flower will appear throughout July and August. Grows to a height of two feet and spreads to over three feet, and works well in zones 4-9. When grouping plant three feet apart to get the best coverage. Gold Standard is not only for the garden area though, serves equally well in a potted planting for a patio or terrace. This is one of the best and most popular of all the Hosta. Order early as these always go quick.

Our Hosta selections are shipped in full quart containers, 1 to 5 eyes per plant. Please do not confuse our size offered with other nurseries that offer bare root or small 3 inch pots with one eye per plant. In fact our sizes compare to one gallon containers seen at some of the more reputable garden centers.
