Hybrid Poplar Trees ship in two sizes:

  • 1 to 2 foot tall bare root
  • 3 to 4 foot tall bare root (not available spring 2012)

Shipped bare root with roots wrapped securely for freshness.

Orders shipping to the following states: AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NV, OR, UT, WA, and WY are subject to a 20% handling charge due to additional plant preparation and shipping surcharges.


Poplar Hybrid Trees, Populus deltoides x Populus nigra, are fast growing treesHybrid Poplar Trees, on average and under normal conditions, can grow several feet a year. Plant Hybrid Poplars as a hedge, screen, windbreak, or to line a road or drive.  It can mature to over 70' tall with a 40' spread as a shade tree. The Hybrid Poplar can also be grown as pictured for a Living Fence Hedge Screen. Plant 5 to 8 feet apart as a hedge or windbreak.

A Fast Growing Trees Variety, this tree will require supplemental water until established. Hybrid Poplar Trees make a great fast growing shade tree.
