NEW! - Festuca ovina glauca - Elijah-Blue
This little blue cool season honey, (8-12") is the bluest of all the blue fescues. Cute and compact with deep blue tufts all year round. Elija’s lovely blue color in the spring is a great backdrop for dianthus (pinks) because their colors look so well together. This bluest of the blue fescue forms a fine-textured spiky clump spreading 18-24". In June, it forms taller flowering spikes that appear as small wheat stems and continues to flower up to three full months. .
It will grow in full sun to part shade. Zones 4-9
Our Grasses are shipped in ONE-GALLON containers, full root system, ready to plant, and start growing.
Not to be confused with divisions, or field grown liners. Price Compare at $25.00 per plant at other outlets. You save $5.00 to $20.00 per offer!
Offers: 1, and 3 plants per offer. WILL BE AVAILABLE TO SHIP THIS SPRING!

Pennisetum Hameln - At Greenwood, the ‘Hameln’ is our personal favorite. Its compact growth habit and finely textured foliage make this one of the most popular Pennisetum cultivars.

Miscanthus ‘Gracillimus’ is perhaps the oldest cultivar of miscanthus sinensis and remains very popular to this day. This large warm season grass is a favorite at Greenwood for its fine narrow foliage and gracefully round form.
