The Brightwell Blueberry Bushes is a mid to late season rabbiteye cultivar that is better suited for the home garden or home orchard. Vaccinium "Brightwell" is a spreading, upright rounded form blueberry plant that matures up to 10 feet tall. Although the Brightwell Blueberry Bush is a self fruting blueberry variety, a pollinator is recommended for better production. Blueberry Brightwell Bushes produce dark blue blueberry fruit that is tasty in baking or fresh eating. As the Brightwell Blueberry plant flowers in late spring to early summer, it is less susceptible to late winter or early spring freezes.
