I learned of this product last fall. My entire yard was infested with Japanese Beetles and it seemed as though the beetles were worse this past year then ever before. One of my large Crape Myrtles was covered to the point you could not see the color of the blooms. They were also feasting on all of the plants in my yard. At first I was skeptical, but I went ahead and tried the product and was shocked. I applied the Garden Take Down spray in the fall of 2005. I applied the spray to the soil and foliage of the blooming plants in my yard. Towards the end of fall I reapplied a second spraying and then again in early spring of 2006 before my plants began to leaf out. I noticed about a 90% decrease in the amount of Japanese Beetles present that spring and summer. I’m going to retreat the area again this spring so I can enjoy my flowering shrubs again this year.
