Our Euonymus Burning Bush shrubs ship as larger husky size bare root plants. These larger burning bush bushes are field grown transplants that will run in the 10 to 24 inch tall range aned are branched. This larger burning bush size is perfect for landscaping projects such as foundation plants or natural living fence hedges.

Plant the Burning Bush Euonymus bushes in full sun for the speciatular fall foliage that they are know for. Tolerant of shade, the Dwarf Burning Bush shrub does require full sun to produce the vibrant red fall foliage color. Burning Bush shrubs transplants are easily sheared for a more compact size. The corky bark branches easily hold winter snow, outlining the plants interesting branching structure.

The orange red fruit produced by the Burning Bush is good as winter food for feeding winter wildlife. This deciduous bush withstands acidic or alkaline soils and a wide range of temperatures. Established Dwarf Burning Bush shrub can take some drought. Corky ridges on flat, horizontal branches make this an interesting plant in winter.
