The Hello Yellow Milkweed is a must have for attracting butterflies, insects and hummingbirds to your garden. Asclepias tuberosa is a host plant for the Monarch butterfly and other butterflies providing food and nectar for the caterpillar to butterflies. Also called Butterfly Weed or Milkweed.

Tips on growing Milkweeds: deadhead for extended blooming from summer to fall, late to emerge in spring, plant with companion plants such as Cheyenne Spirit EchinaceaGoldenrod, and Russian Sage Little Spire.​

'Hello Yellow' Butterfly Weed Asclepias tuberosa grows approximately 18 to 24 inches tall and spreads in the 18 to 24 inch width. Plant in full sun to lightly filtered shade. Adaptable to dry, well-drained and lightly moist soils. An excellent native perennial plant that's seed pods are also used for dried arrangements. Pair this native perennial with the orange butterflyweed.
