Greenwood offers two new groundcovers that will grow beautifully within your landscape or on your more problem areas. The Euonymus Woolong Ghost is a mat forming broadleaf evergreen groundcover that is a climber as well. The long leaves of the Woolong Ghost Euonymus is brightened with white veins. In contrast, the Euonymus Kewensis is a tight grower with tiny evergreen leaves. The Kewensis is a a great choice for areas where it can drape over walls or rocks.
Tips for Extending the Summer Season:
- Make a pitcher of lemonade or ice tea and sip on it all weekend
- Enjoy lunch outdside
- Visit your local farmers market
- Invite family and friends over for a cookout
- Plant some ornamental grasses – the Adagio is gorgeous and will provide your garden with immediate color and texture as well as beauty throughout fall and winter.
- Make peach daiquaris (See below) – we make this every summer - no fresh peaches?
Go frozen!

Spoon into large goblets, large martini or margarita glasses.
More clearance items have been added to the Member's Value Page over the last week so be sure to check them out. This time of year we are making room for new stock from our growers and need to find homes for these plants. They have been cared for and fertilized over the summer and are healthy, vibrant and ready for planting in their new spaces.
Remember, we're here. Let us know if we can help.
