Jane Magnolia

Part of the Little Girl Magnolia Series of smaller growing magnolias, Jane Magnolia flowers several weeks later limiting frost damage which is common with stellata. This shrub form magnolia produces purple flowers with a reddish tint on the outside of the petals with the inside petal being white. 

Magnolia Jane matures in the 10 to 15 foot height range with a spread of up to 12 feet wide. Can be grown as shrub or small tree. 

While the Jane blooms in spring during April and May, we have seen it randomly bloom as late as July. 

Beautiful specimen flowering shrub for home landscapes, flowering hedges, and near woodland gardens. 

The Little Girl Magnolia Series are hybrid magnolias that are a cross between the M. liliiflora 'Nigra' and M. stellata 'Rosea'. The Ann Magnolia is also part of this series and an excellent mate for the Jane.
